About this Job
curated.by is looking for an experienced backend architect to build and scale our infrastructure. You should love the real-time web, be familiar with API's of existing social networks like Twitter and Google Buzz and it helps if you have build impressive services on any of these platforms in the past.
Responsibilities
Build a scalable and reliable backend infrastructure to work alongside our existing data. Lead the team of backend engineers
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in computer engineer or equivalent experience
- Strong Java experience
- Ability to work in a startup environment
- Track record in building real-time systems or application layers on existing API's a huge plus
- Experience in database optimisation
- Familiar with the MVC environment
- OAuth experience
- Basic knowledge regarding horizontal scaling
- Basic knowledge of linux server management recommended, but not essential.
