Mother of student given complimentary food informs newspaper her kid is not needy – WGHP FOX 8 Greensboro

CANAAN, N.H.– The mother of a New Hampshire high school trainee who got complimentary food from a lunchroom worker informed a regional newspaper that her child is not a needy child.

Speaking anonymously to the Union Leader previously this week, the mom said, “I have 3 kids, and they are all well-cared for and well-fed.

” She did not get fired for feeding a starving kid.”

Bonnie Kimball was fired from her task with Café Providers in April after letting a trainee at Mascoma Valley Regional High School in Canaan have food without spending for it. She stated he told her he didn’t have money.

Kimball’s former company said she had not been charging the student for anything for several months.

The mother shared Facebook messages from Kimball to her boy that show the lunchroom employee asked the student to pay on the account so her manager wouldn’t see a problem after the supervisor saw her give the young boy food.

One message from Kimball to the student checks out, “So ya wendy got hired the workplace for us letting you go so wendy told them often you bring cash ect so if you might put like 20 on your account would be fantastic cause they vfb are going to enjoy us sound you in tomorrow.”

After the student says, “Okay,” Kimball states “we will probly get written but we can make it look good. Lol.”

In the Facebook messages, Kimball likewise informs the trainee she has been fired prior to informing him that she is, “on world news today flying to New york city to fulfill some famous football players.”

When reached previously this week, Kimball stated: “My legal representative encouraged me not to talk to anybody.” She declined to give the name of her legal representative. CNN attempted again Friday to get comment from Kimball.

Kimball was accused of violating the treatments of Café Solutions in addition to federal and school policies, according to a termination letter she supplied to CNN. She had worked at Mascoma Valley Regional High School for more than 4 years, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader

In a written declaration, Brian Stone, president of Café Services school department stated the trainee was in line with a complete lunch, in addition to oven french fries and two packages of cookies. When the trainee got up to the cashier, Kimball got a Powerade and included it to his tray, he said. She then let the trainee take the complete lunch permitted by school policy and also 4 extra products, Stone added.

” Not just needs to she not have permitted the additional a la carte items, but she did not record or charge any of the products, consisting of the main lunch, to the trainee account so they might be paid in the future,” Stone said.
